Everyday
by Wilter von Phar
I miss him,
He who has touched my heart so deeply
Left me in tears and yet is special to me

I miss his sweet voice,
He who talks to me softly
Calls me by my nickname

I miss his gesture,
He who puts his hand over my shoulder
an assuring warmth of comfort

I miss his presence,
He who walks with me on the street
With no disgust, shame, or guilt

I miss his broad shoulder,
He who lets me put my head on it
No malice, simply innocence

I miss texting him,
He who I text everyday
Morning, till dawn then a goodnight thought

Piff! I just miss him,
He who I see almost everyday...
