The Circle and the Secant Line
by Wilter von Phar
Definition:
A secant line is a line that passes through a curve in two distinct points.
A circle is a closed plane curve consisting of all points at a given distance from a point within it called the center.
At the points of Intersection, the values of x and y for both Circle and Secant are equal.
Convergent Lines are lines that approach the same values or points.

They met at a certain point in their world. They have crossed paths and thus began a relationship. They have a common ground which led them to enjoy each others company. But because of the nature of their own identity, they chose to part ways.

But it seems that their worlds were meant to coincide again. Once more they met and rekindled the relationship they had. Once more they shared the common ground that drew them close from the start. But since secant's trait is to move forward, and circle's is to stay close to its center, it was inevitable that they had to part again.

That's the sad story of the circle and the secant. They are destined to meet, part, meet again, and ultimately part forever. But as secant kept moving forward, it said a prayer. It prayed that in the next lifetime if they will be born again, may they be reborn into new lines and that when they meet they will converge and form just one line...
